Keys to College was founded to unlock the mystery to college access. We provide expert private coaching to students and families during the college preparation & application process. As your independent education consultant a.k.a. your college coach, my responsibilities can range from developing your college lists, planning college tours, SAT/ACT score review, assisting with financial aid and scholarship searches and so much more!
Entering my 10th year as an educator, I am very passionate about college access and I consider it my mission to bridge the opportunity gap. My personal and academic journey has inspired me to change lives through empowering students, as a whole, to achieve college and career readiness.
I believe my background in college access and scholarship processes as a College Advising Corps alum, Princeton University Preparatory Program college prep coach and alum, and my experience working in the financial aid office at North Carolina A&T State University augments my school counseling experience and commitment to helping you access several college options that best fit your holistic endeavors.
I earned my BA in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my MA in School Counseling from George Washington University. I am married to a fellow UNC Tar Heel and we have two sons.
